Prof. Dr. Robert Renner, MBA

Prof. Dr. Robert Renner studied at the University of Cologne and the German Sport University Cologne. He completed his doctoral studies and research activities at the Institute for Sports Medicine and Cardiovascular Research, among other institutions. In addition, he earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Strategic Management in Bonn.

During and after his studies, he participated in various exchange and research projects in Germany and abroad as part of funding and scholarship programs. Before his appointment at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, he gained practical experience in both clinical settings and various research laboratories.

His subsequent career path led him to the international management consulting firm McKinsey, where he served as a senior partner. Concurrently and thereafter, he served on several supervisory boards. Most recently, he also worked as a university lecturer in Berlin and Cologne.

Prof. Dr. Robert Renner has been the program director of the Master’s program in Health Sciences and Health Management at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences since 2017.
