Whether you need advice, information on maternity leave and parental leave, support with family commitments or access to the parent-child room – we’re here for you. We also organise projects and events that help break down barriers and promote fair, respectful coexistence.

Our aim: a faculty where everyone has equal opportunities.

Each faculty has its own decentralised equality officers, who represent the central equality office at faculty level. Prof. Dr Steffi Wiedemann is the representative of the central equality office for the Faculty of Life Sciences, elected by the Faculty Council. Her deputy is Dr Anna Gottfried.
