Open Day at the Faculty of Communication and Environment
The Faculty of Communication and Environment cordially invites all prospective students, and the just curious to its Open Day on June 8, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Kamp-Lintfort. Let us guide you through lecture halls, laboratories and our library, take part in a variety of hands-on activities and find out about the contents of the numerous degree programmes.
Experience how our experts delve into the secrets of the Darknet, fend off dangerous hacker attacks, and protect sensitive data from cybercriminals, or join us in getting creative to turn old books into unique and beautiful things. Take a behind-the-scenes look at platforms like TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube to see what really happens when millions of people communicate with each other and dive into VR and AR worlds to control fast cars or trucks without risk or to move as an avatar through space in real-time.
Look forward to these and many other exciting activities, as well as interesting conversations with our professors, staff, and students. Of course, there will be musical entertainment and plenty of culinary treats and refreshments.
