The Web > List module allows you to navigate through pages and folders on your website and view the records stored there. You can also create and edit records.

Using the List module:

  1. Selecting the module:
    • In the TYPO3 backend, select the Web > List module and navigate to the “Congratulations” page.
  2. Overview of the list view:
    • The list view displays a list of records stored on the current page, grouped by type. The name of a record depends on which field is used for the label. For ‘Pages’, this is the ‘Page title’ field.
    • The following action icons are available in the list view’s docheader bar:
      • Create new record: A wizard opens to select the type of the new record.
      • View current page: Displays the page in the frontend.
      • Edit current page: Allows you to edit the page.
      • Search current page: Performs a search on the current page.
      • Clear cache for current page: Clears the cache for the page.
      • Refresh list view: Refreshes the view.
      • Bookmark this view: Saves the current view for quick access.
      • Copy URL of this view: Copies the URL of the current view.
  3. Action icons in the content area:
    • The following action icons are available in the content area of the list view:
      • Create new page record: With a wizard for selecting the record type.
      • Actions for the record: Icons for editing, hiding/showing (visible in the frontend or not) and deleting the record.
      • Expand the icon list: The ellipsis icon (three consecutive dots) displays additional action icons (typically for accessing information, navigation, etc.).
      • Cut and paste: Icons for cutting and pasting records.
  4. Using the clipboard:
    • Ensure that the ‘Show clipboard’ field is ticked to use the clipboard function, which will be explored in the next step.
