With its innovative, international and interdisciplinary degree programmes, Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences in Kleve and Kamp-Lintfort has been an enriching part of the higher education landscape of North Rhine-Westphalia for 15 years now. Its strength lies in how it incorporates and links together theory, industry practice, science and research. A 15th anniversary is also a good reason to celebrate!

So come out to our Campus Festival 2024 on Saturday, 25 May 2024, from 14-22:00 on the Kleve Campus!

The day promises lots of fun and exciting things for visitors of all ages: from science, music and sports, to games and activities for kids and families. Everyone from HSRW will be there: students, faculties and teams from across the entire University will be making their own contributions for visitors to experience. Each contribution is also a chance for visitors to get active, too, all according to this year’s motto:

From all of us, for all of you!

Beyond that, the Campus Festival is an opportunity to meet and interact with the faces and places that make up Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences outside of the everyday hustle and bustle that comes with running a university. Everyone is invited to come out, whether locals, students, employees or affiliates of HSRW. The Campus Festival promises to be a wonderful Saturday for conversations, celebrations and experiences at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. Of course, food and refreshments will also be available!

Here are some other highlights to look forward to:

  • A large stage moderated throughout the day by Jacob Beautemps, with live performances from the bands Orange Green (our professor band), Sons of Ham (a student band) and the popular coverband Hörbar. DJ Maroox will then take the stage and play into the night.
  • Our legendary Swan Knight Race, with teams building and racing their own boats on the Spoy Canal.
  • A wide range of events and activities for kids, including a moon bounce, surfing simulator and arts and crafts stations.
  • Exciting, entertaining and creative activities of all shapes and sizes offered by the faculties, departments and teams of Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences.
  • Food stands offering delicious international foods, as well as coffee and cake for sale on the canteen roof.
