The Cloud Resilience Lab provides expert consultancy and hands-on support in the digital domain. Led by Professor Patrick-Benjamin Bök and Professor Matteo Große-Kampmann, the Lab works with businesses, public sector organisations and research partners to develop and secure modern cloud and network architectures.

A particular focus of the Lab's work is enhancing system availability, optimising network performance, and improving the resilience of both traditional and hybrid infrastructures against failures and cyber attacks. In addition, the Lab conducts research into the detection, assessment, communication and mitigation of disinformation in digital environments.

By combining academic expertise with practical application, the Cloud Resilience Lab helps organisations strengthen their digital resilience. Alongside consultancy services, the Lab offers training courses, workshops, guest lectures and collaborative development projects that translate research into practical solutions.

Email (patrick-benjamin.boek@hochschule-rhein-waal.de) first! I am not available by phone, as I spend most of my time teaching and conducting research in the lab. Therefore, please start by sending me an email with your request, and I will get back to you with suggested appointment times. Office hours—whether in person or via Webex—are held exclusively by appointment, which must be scheduled via email. Please make sure you are well prepared before approaching me so that our discussion can be productive. This applies both to questions raised during the sessions and to other matters, such as coordinating thesis projects. Therefore, always follow the 5P rule: Proper preparation prevents poor performance.
