Cloud Resilience Lab

The Cloud Resilience Lab is dedicated to research and teaching in the field of resilient cloud and hybrid infrastructures. The lab has been led by Professor Dr Patrick-Benjamin Bök and Professor Dr Matteo Große-Kampmann since 2023. The aim of the research at the Cloud Resilience Lab is to investigate and develop innovative and resilient solutions in the field of distributed and integrated cloud systems. At the same time, the latest findings are shared in courses held in the lab. Eight people are currently working and conducting research on resilient concepts, methods and tools for digital systems.

Facilities

  • 25 workstations (Apple Silicon/arm64) for the development of client, mobile and cloud applications
  • Server systems for testing methods and concepts in the context of resilient distributed systems
  • Virtualised network infrastructure for researching and testing dynamically controlled computer and cloud networks
