Marina Gregorić is a new professor at the Faculty of Society and Economics

The Faculty of Society and Economics welcomes a new professor: Prof. Dr. Marina Gregorić has been appointed Professor of Business Administration with a focus on marketing and market-oriented management as of 01 February 2023. A warm welcome!

Prof. Dr. Marina Gregorić was born in Croatia and received her PhD in Economic Sciences, Marketing, from the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, with rich professional and scientific experience and expertise in the business and academic sector. Marketing Manager with 25 years of experience managing projects and companies in domestic and international markets (EU and Middle East - Croatia, Germany, Qatar, and Monte Carlo) and a professor with 20 years experience in international and domestic universities and higher education institutions with the teaching focus on marketing and tourism.

Previously, Prof. Dr. Marina Gregorić was a professor at University North in Croatia, module coordinator and lecturer at Stenden University in Doha, Qatar; Faculties of Hospitality, Tourism, and International Business Management. She has published over 90 scientific and professional papers in international scientific journals (Wos, Scopus, EconLit, Elgar Encyclopedia of Services, etc.) and participated in many international conferences as a researcher, member of the organizing committee, and keynote speaker. She is also a reviewer of scientific papers in journals, and a member of the editorial board of scientific journals and conference proceedings.

Likewise, she has published many research papers with students and supervised their dissertations and theses. As an enthusiastic and motivated professor, she succeeds in creating a positive and encouraging study environment for the students: results-oriented, research- and development-oriented with a strong commitment to the students.

The recent research and interest in the field of Marketing are related to Virtual and Augmented reality in Marketing Management, Marketing 4.0 and Digital Marketing, Marketing and Management of Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainable tourism management, and Marketing of Specific/selective forms of tourism.
