Start-Up Week 2022

From 14 to 18 November 2022, the international start-up week will take place - and the StartGlocal team has also planned numerous events for the Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences on the topics of start-ups and entrepreneurship. There will be twelve events (offline and online) including among others:

  • “Science goes Business” (for HSRW employees): Prof. Dr. Frank Platte shares his experience as a co-founder of a start-up IANUS Simulation GmbH out of science research.
  • “Sustainability Simulation Game” (for everyone who is interested): Participants will learn about the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and how they interact in a software based simulation game. They will experience this complex topic in a playful way and deal with the contexts of the SDGs.
  • “Agile Project Management” (for everyone who is interested): The coach Roger Knoblich distinguishes agile project management from classic project management and discusses the advantages of agile project management.

Further information, the respective dates and the possibility to register can be found here: https://www.startglocal.de/en/events/start-up-week

All events are held in English. Participation does not require a business idea of your own - interest in the topic is sufficient.

The Start-up Week at the Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences is part of the largest nationwide campaign for entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial spirit. Besides that, the international Global Entrepreneurship Week takes place in 180 countries; more than 10 million people from all over the world take part.
