For all new students, this page offers a compact overview about the most important things you need to know. This information is updated regularly, so bookmark the page and check in often.

Freshers' Week

From October 26th to October 30th you are welcome to join the Freshers' Week. More information can be found here!

October 29th is the Faculty day: meet the deans, meet the heads of your study programme, fellow students, your study guide and many more. The programme for this day can be found here.


Preparatory Courses

There will be preparatoy courses for maths, physics and chemistry. Find more information here.


Most important information in Moodle

We have collected the most important information for Freshers at the faculty of technology and bionics in Moodle. If you don't have access to Moodle yet, follow the link given below.


IT and virtual tools

As this semester will be first and foremost an online semester please make sure that you have set up and are familiar with the basic tools like for example Webex.

Our IT service offers a good overview and downloads here.


Student association of the faculty

Meet fellow students and the respresentatives of the students association of our faculty on Facebook and Instagram.

Study Guidance

The first semester can be a challenging one, especially when it is almost entirely online. Our study guide, Ms Elena Buksmann, offers a contact point for students with questions about how to organize and structure their studies.
