Faculty of Communication and Environment

Students of the Faculty of Communication and Environment have jointly founded the "Rhein-Waal Studentische Unternehmensberatung e.V." which aims at improving the network of students, university and regional companies.

Rhine-Waal University joins the consortium of a new research project named "Gamified, media-based training of reading fluency (GameLet)".

The photo exhibition "Paradise People - Life between Palm Trees  and Trash Mountains”, created by Information and Communication Design students Mara Heemskerk and Lena Lengner, will open on February 10, 2019 at 11:00 am. Thomas Görtz - Mayor of the city of Xanten - will also be there for an official welcome.Infos

An integral part of every degree programme at the Faculty of Communication and Environment is an interdisciplinary project in the 5th semester. This year again, a total of 20 project groups dealt with a wide variety of research topics and presented their results at the annual poster session. Afterwards the jury announced the following winners

Clara Gütte, student of the bachelor's degree programme Environment and Energy at the Faculty of Communication and Environment in Kamp-Lintfort, had the opportunity present her research on the endangered seaweed Posidonia oceanica at the 6th Mediterranean Symposium on Marine Vegetation in Antalya.
