The German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) supports outstanding PhD candidates with eleven scholarship organisations. You will find more information on the helpful website StipendiumPlus.

Other institutions in Germany also offer scholarships to talented, motivated and committed PhD candidates. These offers are generally open to both German nationals and international students wish to continue their studies in Germany with a PhD.
