The Student's Parliament regularly holds public sessions during the lecture period. Times & Dates are avalaible at the infoboards around the university, and every 3rd

session is held at the Campus Kamp-Lintfort. The Student's Parliament operates under the university law of the state North-Rhine Westphalia, the legally valid state

laws and under the laws and regulations of the student's body of the Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences. The Student's Parliament is the highest decision-making

election body of a constituted student's body, votes in the AStA presidency and the finance department, functions as the control body of the AStA and is responsible

for the financial and regulatory requirements of the whole student's body. The AStA acts as the managing organ for the university's outside representation and acts in daily issues of the student's body. Important and essential issues concerning the student's body are decided upon by the Student's Parliament. The Student's Parliament maintains three permanent comittees: the voting comittee, the budget committee and the constitution committee - who give recommendations and are part of the decision-making process. Every immatriculated student is allowed and encouraged to make propositions to the Student's parliament. The Student's Parliament may also always be of assistance to individual student's issues.
