Software maintenance
Due to software maintenance our catalog and self-service machines will not be available on Thursday, 11 April 2013 between 3:30 pm and 4:00 pm. Catalog search, renewals and reservations will not be possible during that time. You can borrow and return items at the information desk while system maintenance is being performed.

Extended opening hours beginning from 3 April
As of 3 April 2013 the libraries will offer extended opening hours from Monday to Friday from 8-20. Times for full service persist.

Changes in shelving system
Due to increase of bookstock you will find the classes Sportwissenschaft (KOA-KWV) and Wirtschaftstheorie (PHA-PNX) on the 2nd floor. Furthermore there are displacements on several floors.

Moving of the libraries into a new building in Kleve
The libraries in Kleve and Emmerich will be closed from Friday, 7 September 2012 to Sunday, 7 October 2012 due to the moving of the libraries into an new building. It will not be possible to loan items or return books during the closing time. The loan period for books which have to be returned during that time period will be automatically extended until 16 October 2012.
The interlibrary loan won’t be available from Wednesday, 8 August 2012 until Sunday, 7 October 2012 at the location Kleve due to the upcoming move of the libraries in Kleve and Emmerich into the new building. For urgent literature requests an interlibrary loan via the location Kamp-Lintfort is possible.
Starting from 8 October 2012 you will have the possibility to use the whole stock from Kleve and Emmerich in the new library building.

Server outage hbz data centre at the end of June / at the beginning of July
Due to civil works in the university library service centre of North Rhine-Westphalia (hbz) from Friday June 29, 2012, 12 am presumably until Monday July 2, 2012, 10 am the Interlibrary loan (online) and Digital Library (DigiBib) will not be available. Our local library catalog is at your disposal.

Starting from now we offer you access to the EBL. EBL presents more than 250000 E-Books including all sciences. You can lend titles or request them for purchase. Titles which were bought by the library can be used simultaneously by multiple patrons.

Daily clearance of the lockers
