Services for Companies

As an innovative and entrepreneurial university, a close cooperation and interaction with industry and business is essential to Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. The Centre for Research, Innovation and Transfer is the central point of contact for regional and supra-regional companies.


Project Management

The Centre for Research, Innovation and Transfer also raises funds and coordinates projects. For example, the Centre for Research, Innovation and Transfer is currently participating in the INTERREG IV A-Project "Wissensallianz Rhein-Waal 2020". In the project "Regionality in the Lower Rhine Region– Market Research in Awareness of Regionality and Potential Analysis" which is funded by the Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Agriculture, Nature Conservation and Consumer Protection of North Rhine-Westphalia, the Centre for Research, Innovation and Transfer analyses the awareness for regionality as well as supply and demand of regional products. Furthermore, the Centre for Research, Innovation and Transfer plans to further extend its application-oriented research, particularly in the natural sciences and engineering. In 2012, a zdi-Centre for the district of Kleve was established at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. The joint initiative “Zukunft durch Innovation.NRW” (zdi) of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia aims to create interest of children in engineering, natural sciences as well as technical professions.
