Career Talk: Human resources consulting

What is the typical job description for human resources consulting? Which skills does one need to succeed as an independent consultant in HR? How does a consultant typically advise a company on issues like employer branding or talent development?

On 18 May 2016, room 5a EG 002, starting at 3 pm, Beatrix Henseler will be addressing these questions and more in the next Career Talk. With over twenty years of experience in human resources and organisational development at leading international companies, Ms Henseler recently founded her own consulting business in 2013. She will be speaking about her experiences as a leader and a motivator, about the many facets of her field and how applicants can get a foot in the door, and about her path to becoming her own boss. Afterwards, Ms Henseler will be taking questions directly from the audience. The Career Talk will be held in English and students of all faculties are invited to join.
