You can apply here for the bachelor and master study courses for the winter semester 2012/2013.
Application and Registration
For the winter semester (from 1 September until 29 February) you can apply for all study programmes (Bachelor and Master degree programmes)
For the summer semester (from 1 March until 31 August) you can apply for the master degree programmes only.

The application portal is available approximately 3 months before the upcoming application deadline.
The application deadline for the winter semester is: July 15th
The application deadline for the summer semester is: January 15th
After having applied online, you will receive an automatic response with an application number and further instructions.
You will be asked to send us a pdf-copy of your former education (secondary school certificate, university education certificate including all academic transcripts and diplomas) so that we can determine your eligibility. You also need to include a proof of your language skills through a recognized language test center.
1. For the bachelor degree programs in English we require language skills in conformity with the B.2. level of the Common European Framework.
IELTS: 6,0-6,5
TOEFL (internet based test): 80-109
TOEFL (paper based test): minimum 550
TOEFL (computer based test): minimum 213
2. For the Master degree programs the C.1. level of the Common European Frameworkis required. The following certificates are accepted.
IELTS: 6,5 or higher
TOEFL (internet based test): 110-120
TOEFL (paper based test): minimum 560
TOEFL (computer based test): minimum 220
Please note that for the Bachelor degree programs in German a proof of TDN 4 for DaF or DSH-2 for DSH is required. A certification of German language proficiency is not necessary in order to apply for an English-taught program.
The TOEFL-code of our university is: 6962.
Please always refer to your application number, together with the study program you applied for when you contact the university. Please note that you can’t check your application status online.
After we have checked your application documents we will inform you by email about the result. Please refrain from inquiries about your application status since this will significantly slow down the admission process. We receive a lot of applications from international students and try our best to get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you for understanding!
