Teach and Learn Editing
Create and design television reports, conduct interviews, find out how journalistic television production works - from dealing with the camera to computer editing: all this can be learnt by students at the Rhine-Waal University in the course Teach and Learn Editing.
Media literacy is needed not only for work in television, but also in business and everyday life. How do you present a topic in an interesting and understandable way? How does journalism work? What questions will you use in an interview? How to prepare a topic for specific target groups? Funded by the State Institute for Media NRW (LfM) at the University of the Rhine-Waal, Teach and Learn Editing was conceived to convey media competence to the students.
Students can independently create a film, and are assisted and supported by experts from beginning to end. The TV learning channel for North Rhine-Westphalia will broadcast the latest reports on cable television and internet (http://www.nrwision.de/).
Topics are too numerous to mention all that is needed are your ideas and creativity! All students are invited to use this opportunity to get involved and get their reports on television.
