Dear prospective Student!
Do you want to study and learn with professors who know you personally and by your name? Do you want excellent lectures in small groups? Do you like to think outside the box - and would you like to study abroad for one semester or complete one practical semester of work? If so, you have come to the right place: The Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences.
The university has two modern campuses: The Kleve campus and the Kamp-Lintfort campus. Here, 5,000 students find everything they need for their everyday university life close by: Lecture halls, seminar rooms and space for work placements, language centres, university libraries, university refectories and halls of residence.
At the Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, you are able to study natural scientific, business/economics-scientific and engineer scientific research areas as well as Social Sciences and Health Sciences - we offer a total of 25 undergraduate degree programmes and four postgraduate degree programmes. And to ensure that you are not destined to spend all your time in "academic ivory towers" contemplating the universe after your studies, we will combine scientific contents of study with a lot of practical knowledge and practical applications - and thus we will prepare you well for your later professional routine.
Also in so far as international orientation is concerned: Industrial enterprises, such as public employers, increasingly expect work experience that has been gained abroad and business fluency in English. Therefore, approximately 75 per cent of our courses of study are taught in English. From the onset, the study semester abroad and the practical work semester are integrated in the syllabus – numerous university co-operations will help you to find the right partner university or the suitable business.
As a modern university, we want and are able to provide something special for our students and we are open to new experiences. This openness will be reflected in the personal atmosphere, modern didactic methods and brilliant facilities. Of course, in addition to excellent teaching and research, social life and activities will not be neglected...
We are looking forward to warmly welcoming you very soon! Of course, we would like to be able to give you advice in advance in order for you to find the best programme for yourself.
Will you be one of us?
Professor Dr. Marie-Louise Klotz
